If your 2445B, 2455B, 2465B, or 2467B, does not boot up properly, or gives you any 04, or 05 post error fault, chances are that the controller processor A5 PCB has a problem

The problem usually develops from electrolyte leaking from the SMD electrolytic capacitors, the electrolyte will eat its way through components and occasionally through tracks on the board itself. the result will be a damaged board and a non functioning oscilloscope.

More Specifically the repair / Recondition service will cover

All SMD Electrolytic capacitors will be replaced, SRAM chip will be replaced with a new, possible damaged PCB from capacitor electrolyte corrosion will be cleaned and repaired, all components suffering damage from corrosion will also be replaced, standard calibration data will be pre-programmed in SRAM

1 - Although your instrument will work fine after repair, and the accuracy of measurements will be sufficient in most cases, a complete Oscilloscope recalibration will be required in order to meet the manufacturers specifications.

2 - Calibration data available cover standard instrument configuration, NO OPTIONS

3 - In rare cases the board may have suffered damage to such extend that repair may not be possible, in this case, your board will be returned, and the price paid will be refunded,
